UH FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
The University of Hawai'i Federal Credit Union has named three management personnel to its full-service cooperative financial institution:
Ron K. Aoki, controller and finance team leader, will oversee the finance department and asset liability management functions. Previously, he was with Kwock and Co. CPAs, where he performed audit and consulting services, specializing in the credit union industry.
Charla A. Kato has joined UHFCU as its member services team leader, overseeing the member services department and UHFCU's "One Stop Shop" program for share accounts, debit and credit cards, IRAs, CDs, auto loans and promotions, business accounts, home equity, check deposits and more. She is a 26-year credit union veteran, formerly with Liberty Checks, Hickam Federal Credit Union and Hawai'i Schools Federal Credit Union.
Phyllis Takemoto has also joined UHFCU as the Electronic Services and Operations Support Department team leader, overseeing staff and back-office processing of ACH debit and credit cards, share drafts, IRAs and CDs. The 25-year financial industry veteran was formerly with Hawai'i USA Federal Credit Union and City Bank.
UHFCU, serving mainly employees, students, alumni, faculty and family members of UH and affiliated organizations, maintains main offices at 2019 S. King St., as well as a branch on the Manoa campus.
