Aiea library to show 'mystery movie' today

Advertiser Staff

In celebration of Banned Books Week 2007, Aiea Public Library is scheduled to host a "Mystery Movie" at 4 p.m. today in the Meeting Room.

Admission is free.

Sponsored by the Friends of Aiea Library, this movie is an adaptation of a Ray Bradbury novel in which books are illegal, and it could very well serve as the epitome of Banned Books Week. The two–hour movie is suitable for ages 12 to adults.

This year marks the 25th annual celebration of Banned Books Week (Sept. 29 – Oct. 6).

Aiea Public Library is located at 99–143 Moanalua Road.
