Sept. 7 Punchbowl crash victim died of medical condition

Lab tests confirmed a 47-year-old man died from a medical condition and not from crash injuries in a car accident Sept. 7 at Punchbowl and Lusitana streets.Cardiac arrhythmia was the cause of Kenneth Yamada's death, the Honolulu Medical Examiner's office said today.
The findings will result in an eventual change in O'ahu's traffic fatality count, which now stands at 50, once police receive confirming paperwork from the medical examiner.
