The Big Island Film Festival is now accepting films for its third annual event May 15 to 18, 2008, at Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast.

Narrative short films (30 minutes or less) and feature-length films (60 minutes or more) completed after Jan. 1, 2007, will be considered. No documentaries are accepted, and the final deadline to enter is Feb. 1, 2008. Entry fees are $60 for feature, and $50 for short. Films shot in Hawai'i or from filmmakers who live in Hawai'i receive a 25 percent discount on entry fees.
