A man and a woman were killed when their motorcycle crashed into a parked car at 4374 Kahala Ave. near the Royal Place intersection in Kahala Tuesday night, police said.

Traffic investigators reported that the accident occurred about 10:35 p.m. when the pair were traveling west down Kahala Avenue at a high speed.

The medical examiner's office identified the passenger as Satoko Aihara, 30, of Japan. The identity of the male driver was not disclosed.

Neither person was wearing a helmet, police said. The two were taken to The Queen's Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
