Maui's Miyajima advances to LPGA Q-School final stage

Maui's Shayna Miyajima shot a 3-over-par 75 today, finishing in the top 30 at Venice, Fla., to advance to the final stage of the LPGA Qualifying School.Miyajima, of Wailuku, finished tied for 13th with a 3-over 291 in the sectional tournament at Plantation Golf and Country Club, 10 strokes behind medalist Na-Yeon Choi, who shot a final round 73.
The final qualifying tournament is Nov. 28 to Dec. 2 at the LPGA International course in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Miyajima played this season on the Duramed Futures Tour.
