Advertiser Staff

The state Senate Tourism and Government Operations Committee plans to meet 2 p.m. Thursday in Room 229 of the state Capitol to gather information on recent procurement decisions made at the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.

Among the issues the committee plans to discuss:

  • The awarding of an $8.7 million the hydrogen fund management contract.

  • A recent contract award to run Hawaii's Regional Center's Immigrant Investor's Pilot Project Program.

  • And a service contract to create "Innovation in Linking Hawaii to the Global Economy" policy.

The committee also is requesting a follow up briefing from DBEDT and the state's Chief Procurement Officer on the status of the State's Hydrogen Fund request for proposal.
