Urban Pacific fashion show at Nextdoor Oct. 11

At the fifth Urban Pacific Fashion Event, 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Nextdoor Cinema Lounge, 43 N. Hotel St., independent designers will be showcased through fashion shows, retail, and exhibitions.Five designers have been chosen by the Urban Pacific board in a competition to flaunt their fall collection through full-length fashion shows. The chosen designers are Manovich, Leah Evans, Allison Izu, La Pistil and New York Designer Lornnie Louie.
A portion of all Urban Pacific Proceeds will go towards REVO, supporting children of Africa. For more information on the local REVO organization, go to www.myspace.com/revooflove.
