Halloween fun, tales at library

Waialua Public Library will host Halloween activities this month, including Spookers and Haints, for age 12 and up, featuring storyteller Lyn Ford with tales ranging from "gentle spookers to spine tinglers," at 10 a.m. Oct. 17.

Pumpkin Tales, for preschoolers and older, includes a fall party with stories, a pinata, a pumpkin parade, treats and cupcake decorating, at 10 a.m. Oct. 27.

The month also includes the regular story time at 10 a.m. Saturdays, at which children hear a story, then make a craft to take home.

The regular adult book club meets at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 25. For more information call 637-8286.
