More sun than rain in the forecast for today

The trade winds will continue to blow at a moderate level throughout today and will start to slacken a bit starting tomorrow when a high pressure area north of the state begins to weaken, according to the National Weather Service.Clouds and showers will favor the windward and mauka areas with a few showers drifting over leeward areas at times, especially at night.
