Big Island man to be sentenced Tuesday for murder

A Big Island man will be sentenced Tuesday in Hilo by Circuit Judge Glenn S. Hara for killing his former girlfriend in November 2006 in front of their then 2-year-old sonJeffrey B. Santos Jr., 24, of Puna, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting death Daysha Iwalani Aiona Aka.
Aka's body was placed in her car, which was then set on fire.
