Pupukea man arrested in stabbing of woman, 30

A 23-year-old Pupukea man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder for allegedly stabbing a woman in the neck during an argument.

The 6-foot-1, 250-pound man was arrested at his Pupukea residence at 7:15 a.m. In addition to attempted murder, the man was booked on three outstanding warrants totalling $1,300.

He was being held at the main police station cellblock this afternoon pending charges. The man has five prior criminal convictions.

Police did not release any information on the condition of the victim, 30.
