Confucius Institute gives study grants at UH-Manoa

The Chung-Fong and Grace Ning/Confucius Institute Fund for Chinese Studies has awarded study grants to a number of graduate students and faculty members at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa's Center for Chinese Studies.

They are: Kuan-Hung Chen, philosophy student; Chung-ying Cheng, philosophy professor; Hong Jiang, assistant professor of geography; Chan Lee, philosophy student; Kevin Lo, international management student; Pu Miao, associate professor of architecture; Jungmin Seo, assistant professor of political science; Mingwei Song, assistant professor of East Asian languages and literatures; Constantinos Vrakas, Asian Studies student; Shu-Ling Wu, East Asian Languages and Literatures student; Yiyuan Xu, assistant professor of psychology; Man (Beryl) Yang, ethnomusicology student; Kate Zhou, associate professor of political science.
