Hawai'i stock index falls as eight issues show declines

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index fell as decliners outnumbered gainers.Today the 11-member stock index fell 0.12 points to close at 102.82 as 8 issues fell, two gained and one was unchanged.
Among stocks losing ground, Central Pacific Financial was off 55 cents to $28.78 and Hoku Scientific fell 13 cents to $9.05.
