Rare harpsichord music to be heard in concert

Carl Crosier will conduct the Bach Chamber Orchestra and perform on the harpsichord with three other harpsichordists in a rarely heard live performance of Bach's Concerto for Four Harpsichords at 8 p.m. Oct. 26-27 at Lutheran Church of Honolulu, 1730 Punahou St.

Bach Concerti for one, two, and three harpsichords will also be featured. Darel Stark, Ignace "Iggy" Jang and other musicians from the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra will perform Bach's Concerto for Three Violins.

Soloists include Grant Mack, Evelyn Zuckerman, Evelyn Lance and Mark Russell, harpsichords; and Judy Barrett, Wu Hung and Emma Phillips, violins.

Tickets: $25 ($30 preferred seating; $15 students).
