Sophomore forward Ambree Ako scored in the 80th minute as Hawai'i secured a 1-1 tie in double overtime with host Pepperdine in a non-conference match at Malibu, Calif.

The 'Bows, who didn't take a shot in the first half when they fell behind 1-0, missed two scoring opportunities midway in the second half. Taryn Fukuroku's volley was punched over the cross bar by Wave goalkeeper Kayla Stolte, and Chelsea Deptula nearly put home a header on the ensuing corner kick.
