It's earnings season for Hawai'i's public companies

It's earnings season and many of Hawai'i's publicly traded companies are scheduling announcements of their financial performance during the three months ended Sept. 30.

Among the companies that have scheduled earnings releases are:

--Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., the owner of Matson Navigation and Hawai'i real estate, will release its results before the opening of markets on Oct. 26. It's scheduled a conference call with analysts and institutional investors for 3 a.m. Hawai'i time. The call will be available in a "listen-only" mode at the company's Web site, www.alexanderbaldwin.com. A replay will be available about three hours after the call ends and will remain posted through Nov. 2.

--Bank of Hawaii Corp. has scheduled its quarterly conference call s on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 8 a.m. Hawai'i time. It can be accessed through the investor relations link of Bank of Hawaii Corporation's web site, www.boh.com. A replay will be available for one week beginning 10 a.m. that day.

--Central Pacific Financial Corp. , parent company of Central Pacific Bank, will hold its third quarter earnings conference call on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 10 a.m. Hawai'i time. The call can also be accessed via the company's investor relations website at http://investor.centralpacificbank.com. A playback of the call will be available through November 6, 2007 on the company's website.

--Hoku Scientific, Inc. will release results from its fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 after the markets close on Oct. 23. It's scheduled a conference call for 11 a.m. that will be available at www.hokuscientific.com. The replay will be available until its next earnings release.
