Incoming south swell won't reach advisory levels

Advertiser Staff

Small surf dominates today's forecast, but the National Weather Service said a new south swell should peak tomorrow, but well below the 8-foot high-surf advisory threshold. Another small north swell is expected Thursday and Friday.

Today, surf along north-facing shores will be 2 feet or less; surf along west-facing shores will rise to heights of 1 foot to 3 feet this afternoon; surf along east-facing shores will decrease to 2 feet to 4 feet and surf along south shores will also be 2 feet to 4 feet.
