TALK STORY

GET READY FOR GAB

Words fly at the 19th annual Talk Story Festival, Hawai'i's oldest and largest storytelling celebration. The event extends over three nights in Honolulu on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in McCoy Pavilion, Ala Moana Park. The free program includes well-known storytellers Jeff Gere, returning hometown notable Alton Chung and "Tita" Kathy Collins, of Maui. Friday's theme is "Spoooky Tales," and includes Lopaka Kapanui, who leads Ghost Tours of Old Hawai'i. Get the full lineup at www.honoluluparks.com.
