SALT LAKE
Ohio storyteller shares her tales

Advertiser Staff

Ohio storyteller Lyn Ford will visit the Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library Oct. 16 to perform her program, "Spookers & Haints: From gentle spookers to spine-tinglers."

Ford, known for sharing tales from her African-American heritage, will tell stories during the program, which begins at 5:30 p.m.

Ford is a fourth-generation storyteller and has performed at the National Storytelling Festival in Tennessee. She is also a mentor for the Thurber Center's Young Author's Writing Sessions and Camps.

An easy "bat magnet craft" will follow the stories. For more information, contact the library at 831-6831.
