Surf rises along north, south shores

A south swell bring surf 3 to 6 feet will peak tonight and Thursday then gradually diminish by the end of the week, the National Weather Service said. A small to moderate sized north swell, which is bring surf 4 to 6 feet today, is anticipated through the remainder of the week.

Elsewhere, surf along west-facing shores is expected to be in the 2 to 3 foot range today and surf along east-facing shores will be 2 to 3 feet with occasional 5 footers along exposed northeast facing shores.
