In an effort to reveal the personal side of Hawai'i's "intriguing personalities," PBS Hawaii will launch a new locally produced show, "Long Story Short With Leslie Wilcox," at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The one-hour show will premiere with Maui recording artist Kealii Reichel. Reichel is the founder of Halau Kealaokamaile, his hula school, and the founding director for Punana Leo O Maui, the Hawaiian language immersion school. He has also produced and released a number of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian songs and chants that have generated international notoriety and multiple Na Hoku Hanohano awards.

Future guests include Hawaiian educator and composer Nona Beamer, fashion model and designer Mamo Howell and former University of Hawai'i football player turned entrepreneur Kent Untermann.

Viewers are encouraged to log on to www.pbshawaii.org to submit questions for upcoming guests and suggestions for future guests.

Wilcox is the station's president and chief executive officer.
