Woman stole $170,000 from Arizona Memorial

A Waipahu woman has admitted stealing $170,000 from the Arizona Memorial Museum Association, where she worked as an accounting assistant from 2002 through 2005.

Fe Nakahara, 43, pleaded guilty in federal court to larceny and filing a false income tax return.

The thefts occurred from May to October 2005.

Nakahara faces a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
