Police seeking aloha-attired Waikiki bank robber

Honolulu police today released surveillance photos and a description of the man who robbed the Waikiki Shopping Plaza branch of Central Pacific Bank on Tuesday.

The suspect was wearing a kukui nut lei, a fedora-type hat, dark glasses, a white T-shirt and dark shorts when he robbed the bank at 2250 Kalakaua Ave. of an undisclosed amount of cash at 3:25 p.m.

The suspect fled on foot.

No injuries were reported.
