South swell to peak today ahead of north swell

Surf along north-facing shores will be 4 feet to 6 feet today, the National Weather Service said, and the south swell, which will bring surf 3 feet to 5 feet to southern shores, is expected to peak early today and gradually diminish by the end of the week.A small to moderate north swell is expected through the rest of the week.
The rest of today's surf forecast calls for surf 2 feet to 4 feet along west shores and surf 2 feet to 3 feet with occasional 5-footers along east shores.
