South swell to peak today ahead of north swell

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores will be 4 feet to 6 feet today, the National Weather Service said, and the south swell, which will bring surf 3 feet to 5 feet to southern shores, is expected to peak early today and gradually diminish by the end of the week.

A small to moderate north swell is expected through the rest of the week.

The rest of today's surf forecast calls for surf 2 feet to 4 feet along west shores and surf 2 feet to 3 feet with occasional 5-footers along east shores.
