Advertiser Staff

Andy Baldwin, 30, who gained national fame as Reality TV's "The Bachelor" last season, will be offering a free workshop today on health and fitness for keiki at the Kona YMCA.

Baldwin is on the Big Island to compete in Saturday's Ford Ironman World Championship for the fifth time.

The Ironman consists of a 2.4-mile ocean swim, 112-mile bike race and 26.2-mile run. Baldwin is competing with the U.S. Navy Team and is one of nearly 1,800 competitors in the field from 45 countries and 49 states. He will be deploying to the Persian Gulf in January.

Today, however, Baldwin will Talk Story with keiki about health and fitness from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend and you do not have to be a Y member to participate.
