Toddler killed by Waipahu accident identified

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office today identified the girl who died yesterday after being struck by a van in the parking lot of Times Super Market at 94-766 Farrington Highway as Taase Anthony, 1, of Waipahu.

Autopsy findings list cause and manner of death as "craniocerebral trauma due to motor vehicle accident."

The accident involving the toddler occurred on private property and is classified as a non-traffic fatality, O'ahu's fifth of the year.
