Mililani High School principal John Brummel will represent Hawai'i in Washington, D.C. this month in the MetLife/National Association of Secondary School Principals National Principal of the Year program.

Brummel will join other state Principals of the Year at the Principals Institute and Awards Banquet.

The MetLife/NASSP Principal of the Year program began in 1993 to recognize principals who have shown outstanding leadership, commitment to students and staff, service to the community, and contributions to their profession.
