Bank stocks lead Hawai'i stock index lower

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index fell as bank stocks declined and Central Pacific Financial touched a 52-week closing low.

The 11-member stock index fell 0.95 points to 101.38.

Central Pacific declined 64 cents to $27.29, the lowest in a year. Bank of Hawaii was off 94 cents to $52.47.
