Parenting columnist John Rosemond to speak Nov. 6, 8

Best-selling author and internationally-renowned speaker, John Rosemond, whose column on parenting runs in The Advertiser on Tuesdays, will give three parenting seminars on O'ahu next month.

The schedule:

  • "Assuming the Power of Parenthood": 7-8:30 p.m. Nov. 6, Hope Chapel Kapolei in Kalaeloa (Barbers Point). Childcare will be available.

  • "Working with Parents of Problem Students": 4-5 p.m. Nov. 8, First Presbyterian Church at Ko'olau Golf Course. This session is primarily for educators and counselors; special $5 vouchers available for teachers.

  • "Parenting the Strong-Willed Child": 7-8:30 p.m. Nov. 8, First Presbyterian Church at Ko'olau Golf Course

    Cost: $25 for all 3 workshops; $15 for 2 evening workshops; $10 for one evening workshop.
