Golf: Els beats Cabrera to earn World Match Play title

VIRGINIA WATER, England — Ernie Els won his seventh World Match Play Championship title Sunday by beating Angel Cabrera 6 and 4.Els won the first hole of the day at Wentworth, with Cabrera taking a bogey. The South African never lost the lead and went on to his first victory of the year.
Els, ranked No. 5 in the world, earned more than $2 million by capturing the final.
