CFB: At least 22 arrests in Kentucky after upset of LSU

LEXINGTON, Ky. — University of Kentucky and State Police arrested at least 22 people following the Wildcats' 43-37 triple-overtime win over LSU on Saturday, university spokesman Jay Blanton said on Sunday.

Most of the arrests following the upset were for disorderly conduct, alcohol intoxication and trespassing, he said.

"The trespassing, that was for folks running onto the field after the game," Blanton said.

The victory was Kentucky's first over a top-ranked team since 1964, when the Wildcats beat Mississippi State. The loss dropped LSU to No. 5 in the AP poll.

Couches were ablaze near the heart of off-campus student housing as parties continued until 3 a.m., with bonfires in driveways and Lexington police monitoring the city by helicopter.
