ADOPTABLES

COOPER

TAG NO. 07-10822

Cooper formerly enjoyed life in the military — where she must have seen active duty cuz, boy, is she athletic! Loves to climb, has scaled the heights of Cathouse 3 repeatedly, and is ready for even greater challenges. Initially shy and timid, this black and tan beauty can be handled with encouragement and, in fact, has a definite crazy streak in her. I wonder if she's been into the "Meowie Wowie" catnip again?

PATRICK

TAG NO. 07-19704

We are not worried about Patrick finding a good home; after all, he's got good looks and smarts. However, he has shown some tendencies in resource guarding; has not learned to walk nicely on a leash, and may require some dental work. On the plus side, this black, white and tan animal has received some prior training and knows basic commands. Patrick has an agreeable temperament, and should have no trouble finding his "fur-ever" home.

FELIX

TAG NO. 07-15289

Felix is so sad, because his roommate, Oscar, got adopted and he got passed over. Why would anyone want to break up this time-honored twosome? In any event, Felix was surrendered by his owners on July 11. He is black and cream, and is anxiously awaiting a new home to call his own.

These animals already may have found homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekends and holidays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For directions, special events and to see more pets available for adoption, visit www.hawaiianhumane.org or call 946-2187. Call immediately to report lost or found animals, ext. 4.
