Lingle in Texas to discuss national parks

Gov. Linda Lingle speaks in Texas tomorrow about public-private partnerships that preserve and improve national parks.Lingle will be speaking at the National Park Foundation Leadership Summit on Partnership and Philanthropy in Austin.
Her office said she would speak on recent partnerships between governments in Hawai'i and environmental, educational institutions and native Hawaiian organizations, and private foundations, businesses and the community.
The governor's office said it will provide a live Webcast of the speech starting at 3:30 a.m. Hawai'I time, and then post the speech on the governor's Web site. To see the webcast, go to www.hawaii.gov/gov.
