Indian scholar to discuss 'Partition' Oct. 22

Kumar, an author, scholar and translator, is a professor at Delhi University in India. She will address the ways that literature can encourage reconciliation and healing by telling the forgotten, hidden stories of individuals caught in times of social dislocation. Also appearing will be Monica Ghosh, librarian in charge of the South Asia collection of Hamilton Library.
