The Kaua'i Concert Association presents the Shanghai Quartet in concert 7 p.m. Friday at the Kaua'i Community College Performing Arts Center.

The quartet regularly tours North and South America, Asia, and Europe, according to the group's Web site.

It has appeared at New York's Carnegie Hall, as well as in London; Vienna, Austria; Prague, capital of the Czech Republic; and Australia's Sydney Opera House, the Web site said.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students.
