POUHALA MARSH RESTORATION — The Hawai'i Nature Center is restoring Pouhala Marsh in Waipahu. Volunteers are needed to pull pickleweed and mangrove, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Oct. 27. ARBORETUM WORK PARTY — Lyon Arboretum in Manoa holds a volunteer work party at 8 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. Meet in parking lot, prepared for rain and sun; closed-toe shoes, bug repellent, hat, gloves recommended.

PINE TREE PULLERS — Help remove invasive pines near Maui's Hosmer Grove, 9 a.m.-noon Sundays.
