Senate has votes for Superferry special session

State Sen. President Colleen Hanabusa today said that a majority in the Senate is willing to come back into special session to help save the Hawaii Superferry.The Senate will confer with House leaders, who have already said there is consensus for a special session in their chamber. House Democrats are meeting in caucus tomorrow to consider the latest draft legislation.
Gov. Linda Lingle could call legislators back into session to allow the Superferry to resume service while the state conducts an environmental assessment on the project's impact on state harbors.
