Maui's infrastructure to be reviewed today

Advertiser Staff

Long-range planning tools will be evaluated by the Maui County Council's Planning Committee at 9 a.m. today in the Council Chamber.

The meeting is open to the public.

In a released statement, Committee Chair Gladys C. Baisa said the Planning Committee will continue its consideration of Councilmember Danny A. Mateo's request for a Maui Island Infrastructure Study and will receive a presentation on the County's Geographic Information System.

On Oct. 2, the Planning Committee began its analysis of the County's current needs and future capacity regarding Maui's water, transportation, and wastewater system.
