Moderate surf on the decline

The surf never got too big, but the slightly moderate surf northern shores have been enjoying will dip to 3 to 5 feet today as a small north-northwest swell declines.

Another small north-northwest swell is expected tonight and it will continue through tomorrow, the National Weather Service said, with a moderate north-northwest swell expected Saturday and Sunday.

The rest of today's surf forecast calls for surf along west shores to be 3 feet or less; east shores to see surf 2 to 3 feet and south shores to see surf 1 to 3 feet.
