Hawai'i software maker says client extends product use

Decision Research, a Honolulu-based maker of software for insurance firms, said the Arrowhead General Insurance Agency has extended use of a software product that supports the processing of workers' compensation programs.San Diego-based Arrowhead also uses the software makers DecisionMaker Rating product for six commercial lines of business within its online portal and policy management systems, Decision Research said.
"By leveraging our rating technology ease of use and rate publishing features, we are able to help our customers launch new lines of business quickly and affordably," said Karen Yamamoto, DRC's Vice President of Product Development, in a news release.
"Once we have the requisite data sets and rates, our clients' products can be in production in less than a month even when the launch involves a new line of business."
