America returns for Blaisdell Arena show Nov. 27

Time to again ponder the eternal question: If Oz never did give nothing to the tin man, did Oz actually give the tin man something?

Think about it.

America, the '70s SoCal soft rock duo responsible for "Tin Man," "A Horse with No Name," "Sister Golden Hair" and other K-Tel classics are returning to Honolulu on Nov. 27 for a Blaisdell Arena concert.

Reserved seat tickets go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 877-750-4400 and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Times Supermarket.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $45 each.

The duo of Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell are touring behind its 2007 "comeback" album "Here and Now." Co-produced by longtime fans/rock cool kids Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, the disc featured America returning to the sunny pop sound of their Me Decade heyday.

Sprinkled among its brand new original works and a full disc of America classics performed live, the surprisingly retro-hip "Here and Now" featured cameos by Ryan Adams and Ben Kweller and covers of songs by My Morning Jacket and Nada Surf.

And ... "Muskrat Love" live!
