If you listen closely, A&E's hit series "The Bounty Hunter" will be getting even more local this upcoming season.

Fresh off a book signing on Maui on Saturday where Duane "The Dog" Chapman and his wife Beth greeted more than 3,600 fans who showed up at Wal-Mart where Chapman promoted his autobiography "You Can Run, But You Can't Hide," a spokeswoman for the Chapmans said Season 5 will feature more local musicians.

Mona Wood said today that the show's producers were asked to feature all genres of music made in Hawai'i and loved the idea.

"We have talented people here who do everything from traditional to contemporary Hawaiian, to Jawaiian and jazz," Wood said. "We're thrilled about that."

The Chapmans return from a business trip to Los Angeles today and will resume shooting their TV series and chasing bounties this week.

The fifth season on "Dog the Bounty Hunter is expected to start airing in April.
