3. LSU/(4)/6-1/Auburn/New motto: 3 yards and a cloud of "Why didn't we pass?"
4. California/(12)/5-1/at UCLA/Jeff Tedford's really going to have to work on that 7-second drill.
5. South Florida/(2)/6-0/at Rutgers, Thursday/Presto, uh-oh the Scarlet Knights know a little something about Thursday night magic.
6. Oklahoma/(5)/6-1/at Iowa State/The Sooners have it easier by far than anybody the rest of the way.
7. Florida/(15)/4-2/at Kentucky/The boys from Baton Rouge didn't exactly line up this putt for the Gators, now did they?
8. Boston College/(3)/7-0/at Virginia Tech, Oct. 25/An extra week or two, depending on your view of Notre Dame can't hurt when preparing for the Hokies.

10. West Virginia/(9)/5-1/Mississippi State/In this season of anything is possible, the Mountaineers might as well just keep on keepin' on.
11. USC/(14)/5-1/at Notre Dame/Don't even think about it this is a save-your-trick-plays-for-Oregon game if ever there was one.
12. Arizona State/(8)/7-0/California/Oct. 27/Time for an insane four-game stretch that likely will bury the Sun Devils. But, hey, look at 'em now.
