Al Waterson's karaoke contest heads into finals

"Al Waterson and You," the karaoke singing competition held Sundays at Don Ho's Island Grill, is heading for the finals.Waterson, a local singer, hosts the weekly event at the Aloha Tower Marketplace restaurant/club.
Ten finalists, chosen from previous preliminaries, will compete each week, with one grand prize winner per category.
The schedule:
i Nov. 4 — Keiki, 6 to 9.
i Nov. 11 — Keiki, 10 to 12.
i Nov. 18 — Teens, 13 to 17.
i Nov. 25 — Adults, 18 and older.
i Dec. 2 — Seniors, 50 and older.
Tickets: $32 per person, includes a buffet dinner, tax, tip, reserved seating and validated parking; drinks are extra.
