Medicare information fair at senior center

The Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center, operated by Catholic Charities Hawai'i, will host an informational fair on Medicare Part D prescription drug insurance today from 9 a.m to 11 a.m. at 1640 Lanakila Avenue.The presentation presented by SagePLUS and the Social Security Administration will provide Medicare recipients with information about the 2008 updates to Medicare Part D prescription drug insurance plans.
The Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center serves approximately 2,000 seniors, ages 60 years and older, living between Fort Shafter and Ward Avenue.
The program offers recreational activities, educational classes, and social services that help seniors maintain their health, wellness and independence.
