KFC partnering with Hawaii Foodbank

KFC Hawaii restaurants are expanding on the World Hunger Relief Week campaign by partnering with the Hawaii Foodbank. Through the end of the year, all KFC Hawaii restaurants will serve as donation stations for canned foods, a KFC news release said.Customers making donations will receive a "$1 Off 3 Piece Combo" coupon that may be redeemed on a future visit to any KFC Hawaii restaurant through 2007.
Customers may also donate $1 at the register and receive the coupon above.
In addition to the canned food collection, KFC executives Aries Mier and Tom Harper are raising money by running the Honolulu Marathon this year. Visit www.friendsofwfp.org/honolulu to pledge money and help support their initiative.
