State takes action against securities dealer Goto

The state securities commissoner has taken action against Larry Goto of Financial Management Services for allgedly selling unregistered securities.The preliminary order seeks to prohibit Goto from selling the securities, and seeks to impose a $10,000 fine. Anyone who has purchased viatical settlement contracts — a type of life insurance policy — from Goto or Financial Management Services is asked to contact the State Securities Enforcement Branch at 586-2744.
