Preps: Kamehameha girls force winner-take-all match

Advertiser Staff

The second-ranked Kamehameha girls volleyball team defeated top-ranked 'Iolani, 25-21, 25-18, in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Round 2 Tournament final at Kekuhaupi'o Gymnasium this afternoon.

With the win, the Warriors (16-1) force a winter-take-all match for the ILH overall title on Tuesday with the Raiders (16-1) at 'Iolani.

'Iolani had won the ILH regular-season title. The winner of Tuesday's match will receive the league's top seed and first-round bye in the state Division I tournament, scheduled to start on Oct. 31 in Hilo.
