Every two years the University of Hawai'i-Manoa's School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology plays host to all who want to know what's going on, scientifically speaking.

Today's open house, "From Ocean Depths to Outer Space!," runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Manoa campus (Pacific Ocean Science and Technology and Marine Science buildings and the Hawai'i Institute of Geophysics). It includes hands-on demonstrations, videos, posters, lab tours, high-tech equipment displays and more.

It's all free. Be there, or wait another two years! Info at: www.soest.hawaii.edu/openhouse.
